I have always thought that once mail is delivered to an address that, if you ant to forward it, you need to apply new postage. NOW they are telling me that all I have to do is to affix the label to Salt Lake City to EACH piece of mail they receive and put it back in the mailbox "no need to pay additional postage" They have not filed a change of address nor will they during the 18 month ordeal. I have it weighed and affix the correct postage. During their orientation here in the states they were directed to have neighbors (ME) put their mail (which was delivered to their address) into a large envelope and affix a mailing label to an address to Salt Lake City.where it is put into a pouch and sent to South Africa. Neighbors of mine are Morman Missionaries in South Africa. or would residential recipients, in particular, feel like they were being charged for a service they thought was free? Should the sender pay for forwarding instead of the recipients? What would happen if recipients or senders decided against paying for forwarding?
